In Silence
Your eyes, in silence, speak to me so clear,
Of love and joy between our hearts forever,
For in our love, no words we need to hear,
To know of this great bond we have together.

Your touch, in silence, sends to me a sign
Of safety; in your arms I feel protection
From any evil that attempts to dine
Within the quarters of our love’s perfection.

Your smile, in silence, warms my heart and soul,
Against the coldest winters of December,
And as I smile at you, I feel the hole
Inside of me fill up with love so tender.

Your eyes, your touch, your smile, are all I need,
To know our love will evermore succeed.
